We had a grand time traveling across Kansas and into Nebraska this past weekend for several 2017 Eclipse Celebrations. First, we traveled to Concordia, KS for a performance Friday night at the Brown Grand Theatre--after moving Abigail into the dormitory at Pittsburg State University. What a day!
This historic theatre is amazing and everyone in Concordia and the surrounding area should be so thankful to have it in their community. Wow--just beautiful! We were very honored to have been hosted here for a performance.
Saturday morning we drove to Logan, KS for performances at the Hansen Arts and Crafts Fair.
These folks had some great crafts and what a wonderful arts display at the museum -- Ultra Realistic Sculptures by Marc Sijan. If you have a chance to visit this display, please make the effort to do so. It is well worth the time.
Afterward, we drove up to Grand Island, Nebraska for a concert Saturday night at the Chocolate Bar. Yummy food and drinks here! Oh, and btw, this was also where we celebrated Abigail's 21st Birthday! Happy Birthday, Abbey!
Sunday we hung out most of the day and then traveled to Hastings, NE late that afternoon for our final eclipse performance at The Lark Listening Room, where we opened for Nora Jane Struthers and the Party Line. We had such a blast at this venue and hope to return again. Thanks everyone, for joining us on this trip north. Your friendship and support mean so much to us.
